#1 I would update the adoptive families on a monthly basis. Meaning: I would call or email them every month on the same day of the month; i.e. the 5th. If I had no news or valuable info. for them I would still call or email them and simply say, "I wish we had something to report, but we don't. We hope to have news before next month."
Yep....that's something I would do.
