Cupid Who?

Here's the Valentine's Day Synopsis at the M House:

A dog with serious gastrointestinal distress.

Candle which was lit to help alleviate the effects of said gastrointestinal distress burns down completely and smokes up the entire bedroom, covering the room in a light layer of soot. Entire room had to be wiped down, all bedding had to be taken to dry cleaners, pet toys and quilts on display had to be washed, and carpet had to be cleaned by professionals.

Loving husband brings home gorgeous bouquet of chocolate-covered strawberries (my favorite!) but when I bite into the first one, it is mushy and icky and really just not good.

I'll spare you any more details, but the day didn't exactly end with Barry White music.
