We love our nursery! We have wanted to do dragons since the beginning of the process. Dragons are wonderful creatures, intelligent and majestic and brave! They are very symbolic in the Chinese culture, of course, and that made us want them even more!
We found the fabrics we wanted to use online - it's from a collection called The Bravest Dragon by Avlyn. The patterns are so colorful and beautiful and bright! We fell in love with the adorable happy dragon who is the centerpiece of the fabrics. Little did we know when we picked it all out that it was a discontinued line and hadn't been produced in over a year and a half!! Lucky for us we had a wonderful seamstress who knew no limits when it comes to hunting down fabric...including making calls to fabric shops all over the U.S. to find what she needed. Many thanks go out to H.F. and her company Baby Panache!!
A huge "thank you" is also in order for A.B. for the amazing murals! Not only is A. a very talented artist, but she's a wonderful mother and great friend to us and we love her lots! The room truly wouldn't be the same without her fantastic vision of the sleeping dragon!
We love our very colorful room and hope that Baby Odin does too!

Oh goodness, this makes me want to cry a little...I can't believe this is so close. I think maybe we would have been working on the nursery now,I would have been 27 weeks, can you believe it? It's so odd because that brief moment of thinking about that reality seems like so long ago.... this reality has been a long time coming for you as well. I know you will enjoy every minute of it!
~hugs~

How could any little boy not love this nursery? Odin's in for a lot of fun. So glad he's coming home soon!

Oh my gosh that is so cute!!!
How fun! I hope you are giving him a big hug right now! Can't wait to hear about the trip!
This is one of the most incredible rooms I've ever seen. I wish Odin many a good night sleep (you know--at least 8 hours) in his dragon room.
